Play Time

Brandon put William on Baylee's old 4 wheeler. It's too small for her and hasn't been working for the last year. Brandon fixed it and put Will on it. He loved it!!!

His arms are too short to make it turn, but he sure pushes the gas as fast as it can go, no problem! Will was headed right for the trampoline and would've been clothes-lined if Brandon didn't snatch him off the 4 wheeler before it went under the tramp.

Brandon got out his dirt bike and rode around the backyard with Will.

Baylee is a little big, but hopped on the 4 wheeler anyway.

Sledding with no snow...

:)

Oh dear! Kalyssa slept on the chair last night... by morning she worked her way to the foot rest and had the chair tipped up.

Being a Monkey

We can't keep Will from climbing on Brandon's work desk. We've had to close and lock the door to the room, cause he's such a monkey...

I guess Brandon shouldn't decorate his desk with William's toys... then maybe he wouldn't be so interested to climb up there.

Playing Too Hard

I was rocking in the rocking chair watching William play with his toys... I dosed off and when I woke up I saw that Will went in Kalyssa's room to get her pillow pet and fell asleep on the floor. Poor kid didn't even rest his head on the pillow he felt he needed for his nap.

He's never just fell asleep on the floor before, so I thought this was funny.

I put him in his crib. When he wakes up he likes to throw all his blankets over the rail lately.

Sledding

Kalyssa and Will were bored this Saturday morning, so we got suited up to play in the snow. It's William's first time in his new snow clothes... he fell and couldn 't get up.

Kalyssa was pulling him around on the sled while they waited for me to find a rope to tie to the back of the 4-wheeler.

We're ready! We called Taylee and Makayla to come sled with us, so they were on their way over. I pulled them out to the pasture to do circles and figure 8's.

Taylee and Kalyssa get their first ride together... they kept yelling, "Faster!" These two would fly off the sled on a turn and would get up laughing ready for more.

I talked Makayla into trying it promising that I'd go slower for her and Will. It was funny cause Willie started off sitting up, but after a few minutes he was completely laying down for the ride. He loved it!

They rode on the 4-wheeler with me while the other 2 had a turn on the sled.

It was a tight squeeze with all 3. Makayla hit the snow pretty hard and scrapped her cheek... she was done ridding after that.

William would push on the gas when I was trying to help the girls get back on the sled... lil' stinker.

Pulling the girls for the last 20 minutes William fell asleep riding on the 4-wheeler with me. I brought him in the house to get his snow clothes off. When I sat him on his changing table he was sitting upright while still asleep. With his beanie over his eyes... it's just lights out for him no matter what. lol.

Mmmm... we ate grill cheese sandwiches with tomato soup.

King of the Jungle

Kalyssa is in 1st grade. Every week in her class a different student is King of the Jungle, and it was Kalyssa's turn January 10th-14th. Her "about me" poster is put up on the wall and she can bring anything from home that shows how wonderful she is.

They have to do a "Show and Teach" sometime during the week. It can be anything they want. Last year Abbee showed the kids how to make Kool-Aid. Kalyssa got a magic set for Christmas and wanted to do magic tricks. She was talking it up all week and the kids kept asking her when she was going to do it, but they had to wait until Thursday when I could go and bring the stuff for her.
She did a great job! It was her first magic show. She showed them 3 magic tricks and then she taught them the secrets.

I tried to upload the video 3 times with no luck. :(

So Sweet

It's the sweetest thing ever when you're kneeling with your family to say a prayer and your 1 year old comes and kneels beside you. It's amazing how early they start doing what they've seen you do.

He's been kneeling and folding his arms during our prayers for a month now, and it's not reverent to take a picture of is why I haven't yet, but I had to this morning. It's too precious not to remember.

Fat Cats

The Nielsen's gave us a generous gift card to Fat Cats for Christmas. It was awesome! We went there for FHE and had a blast.

They have really good pizza... we all wanted pineapple and ham.

Then we bowled a game! They have bowling shoes in toddler sizes. He loved them and was stomping around.

Willie got good at pushing the his ball down the metal shoot.

 For the record... Mama wins!

Skill Ball is one of the girls favorites.

I found the men around the corner...

Baylee did good at this dance game.

Brandon put William in this helicopter... he hung on when it started moving. He wasn't expecting that.

He loved this ride too, and cried when we didn't have anymore tokens.

This was the only game I played... I was mostly the coat rack while in the Arcade. lol.
Thank you Kent and Lana!!!
