Halloween Party

The kids were tired of wearing their costumes all day, so they changed out of them before the party at our neighbor's house. And Brandon said he was still too tired to get up... I don't blame him, but he will miss a very yummy dinner!

Jennifer sat next to the twins sleeping in their car seats in case she heard one make a peep, then she could get them out. Paisley woke up first and Jennifer was happy to get some baby time!

Baylee and Conner color their glow-in-the-dark monster pictures.

Kalyssa and Abbee coloring too.

William starts to color his candy bag for the pinata later and decorates it with Halloween stickers.

Conner hits the pinata. They did the order from youngest to oldest. Will was first to bat, but I was inside and missed it. :(

Abbee thinks it's pretty funny to watch the other kids try to hit it with a blind fold on.

Kalyssa and the other kids making sticker animal puppets.

The girls playing Bingo.
The kids had fun... they played Ghost in the Graveyard outside for awhile before we left. It was a school night, so we couldn't stay too late.

Baylee's Haunted House

Baylee brought home her haunted house she made with her school class. She did an awesome job! I think it turned out way cool. :) They do way more fun crafts in school now days than when I was in school.

Trunk-Or-Treat

Halloween is on a Monday this year, and that is a day that we have all 6 kids! I'm so excited! It's our 1st Halloween with all of us together.

William is a Hobo and looked adorable. But he didn't want his hat on at the moment. He painted his pumpkin and I hot glued the "W" with buttons.

All our kids in their costumes and with their pumpkins. :)

Paisley wore a "BOO" onesie with tights and her "BOO" booties. No costumes for the twins... I just wanted them to wear cute baby Halloween clothes. I painted her pumpkin pink and glued a "P" on it.

Emmy wore a romper that says "I want candy!" with her "BOO" booties. Her pumpkin is also pink with an "E" on it. It was fun painting all their pumpkins and gluing stuff on them this year.

A lady Kathy knows made these cute booties for the twins. I thought that was so nice of her, especially since she doesn't even know us.

We went to the church parking lot for the Trunk-Or-Treat. The weather was perfect! We almost didn't need a sweater, it was so warm, considering it was Halloween. I loaded the twins in the double stroller and walked Willie around to fill his bucket with candy. Our 3 older girls ran off with their friends to get their candy. The parking lot was about full on both sides of the church. Most of West Weber showed up. :)

Will was so cute walking around. He would grab a handful of candy out of every bowl... it was embarrassing. By the time we left, he learned to say "Thank you" to everyone who gave him candy and his bucket was overflowing!

The trunk-or-treat lasted about an hour and the kids had plenty of candy, but we had to go visit a few houses still to trick-or-treat. First we went to Grandma MaryAnn's. I know she wants to see the kids.

Grandma gives out a whole candy bar on Halloween.

Will likes this dancing pumpkin she has. It's almost as tall as he is and Will didn't know what to think of it. If you walk in front of it, it'll dance, but he would pat it's head to make it move.

The kids jumped in the back while I drove to the next house.

We went to visit Lana. We come here so much Will thought we were staying and sat down to eat his candy.

Lana gives away whole candy bars too! We got a treat for Brandon... he was home sleeping cause he was up all night at work. Poor Brando! Lastly, we went around the block to Sharon's (Baylee & Abbee's other Grandma) so she could see the kids. We met her going down the road on her riding lawn mower. :)

Then we went home to check on Brandon to see if he got enough sleep to go to the Halloween Party with us...

School Halloween Parade

I packed the Twins & William to the Elementary this morning to watch the kids in the Halloween Parade.

I tried to snap their pictures as they walked by.

Abbee is a dead cheerleader.

Baylee is the Monster High Doll, Draculaura... Will caught Bay and made her stop to hug him.

Paisley in ER

The twins are 2 months old today. My friends, Tracey & Carrie, from our Ward stopped by the house to see the twins. As we talked I mentioned that Paisley had blood in her urine the other day... and it was just one time, but super noticeable. Tracey asked me if she has a bladder infection. Then it clicked! OMGosh! She DOES have a bladder infection, cause her urine has had a terrible odor for the last 10 days and she just hasn't been her normal smiling self. I didn't know babies could get those! Brandon stayed home with William & Emmy so I could take Paisley to the Urgent Care since it was late and a Saturday. The Urgent Care nurse said they don't have catheters that small and sent us to the ER.  :0/

We're waiting for the doctor. He wanted to take a urine sample with a catheter, and that part was quick and easy. But the doctor also wanted vials of blood to test for a possible blood infection and to check her white blood cell count... then things got ugly.

The first nurse poked one arm and couldn't get the needle in her vein, so she tried the other arm with no luck.  That nurse refused to try again and called in the "expert" nurse. She tried both arms too with no luck either. OMGosh! It was so sad. I was right next to her trying to comfort her, but she was screaming. Ew! I hate needles and how they feel! So I felt terrible they poked her so much, but I held it together for the most part. Then they tried 2 more veins on her head just below the surface of her skin. FINALLY, the 7th try, they got a vein, took the samples of blood and hooked up an IV to it in case the doctor wanted to give her medicine.

She did have a serious UTI, but no blood infection.

I took this with my phone camera and sent it to Brandon at home.

Paisley is getting her medicine through the IV for 30 minutes. We left at midnight, and we both were so tired. I gave her Tylenol when we got home cause she was fussy and probably had a headache or something! We had to go back to the ER the next day for a follow-up with the ER doctor and for more meds. Luckily, the meds were oral this time. No more pokes!

Rodeo Queen

They're having a Halloween Carnival at the school tonight, and the kids can dressed up in their costumes.

Kalyssa is a Rodeo Queen and is super excited to wear makeup. haha.

Her dad picked her up and they had a good time. Baylee & Abbee aren't with us on Thursday nights...

Twins Are Getting Big

The twins are getting big since the last bath time pictures I took from the first week home. I can't believe how fast babies grow! They're almost out of the newborn stage, except they're not quite sleeping through the night. They are sleeping from midnight until about 5am though, so almost there!

Paisley is not happy I gave her a bath before she got a bottle.

Emmy is so funny... every time I put her in the tub she puts her head to the side and gives me these funny looks. She doesn't cry, but she seems like she's not sure if she likes the bath.

My little princess! Her head is starting to fill in this towel hood. :)

Kalyssa's Witch

Kalyssa made this cute witch at school out of a plastic bottle and one of Brandon's black socks. They let apples rot for the spooky witch face. I wish I could keep it for next year too, but I'm sure the apple wouldn't hold up. :(

Painting Pumpkins

Brandon has been busy with work lately and the kids have been anxious to carve their pumpkins. Brandon and I do most the work years past, and he's not around to help this time. So we are painting our pumpkins this year for the first time ever. This way everyone can do their own pumpkins and no one gets hurt.

Willie first experience painting...

he was getting into it.

I drew the faces for the girls pumpkins and they got started painting.

After they finished I had to rush them to the showers, cause it was a school night.

William needed a bath too.

Oct 24, 2011

The next morning, Will had to paint some more on his cause he loved it so much.

This is his concentrating face. He added a gold color this time.

While the girls were at school, I had time to hot glue their extra pieces to complete their pumkins. They were excited to see them done when they got home.

Kalyssa made a cat, Abbee made an owl, and Baylee made a bat (with a top hat).
Will's and the twin's pumkins I'll have to finish later. :)

1st Walk

We took the twins on their first walk. I can't believe we have twins. Emmy is a little bigger so I put her up front. That seat doesn't lay back all the way. :0/

We walked to Grandma MaryAnn's for some Sunday dessert.
