Toad's Fun Center

Yesterday, me and the kids told Brandon to take Tuesday evening off work, cause we're taking him somewhere for his birthday and it's a surprise. We were all excited for a family date together! We dropped off the twins at Lana's house and took him to Toad's... and Toad's gives you $25 for your birthday!

The Arcade:

Brandon and Willie are always going for the shooting or racing games.

Baylee and Abbee played Deal or No Deal cause it gives you a lot of tickets.

Haha... I think he's rode this 50 times.

I think this game was called Tiphoon. You sit and watch the screen and the seats move and shake you to make it feel like you're flying around obstacles at a fast speed. And there was big fans on both sides to blow air on you... the girls couldn't stop laughing.

The next one they picked was a roller coaster ride. The seats were moving up and down like crazy and the girls were screaming like they were on a real roller coaster. It was funny and they attracted a lot of attention enjoying the ride so much. I took some pictures and walked away to find Brandon and Will. lol. We heard them still screaming from across the arcade.

Ski Ball is fun! Will tried to play next to me, but he would throw the balls over hand and hit the cage... lol... he couldn't roll it underhand hard enough.

Go-Kart Track:

Baylee drove and Abbee was her passenger. 

I drove and Kalyssa was my little passenger buddy.

Brandon and Will were in front of us.

I let Baylee pass me so I could get pictures while I drove behind them. It was fun doing laps, but we couldn't really race each other. The rules were no bumping, no brake checking, and no skidding, so it wasn't possible to be competitive. I think bumper cars at Lagoon would be more fun.

Laser Tag:

I was "Darkstar" on the Red Team too. I helped Will shoot his gun half the time until my back started killing me, then I showed Willie how to hold his own gun properly so it would shoot, then he was on his own... and he did pretty well.

Brandon's score was higher than mine (only cause I helped Willie), BUT my "Hit %" was higher than his... just sayin.

Mini Golf:

Brandon gives Will his first golf lesson.

On Kalyssa's turn at this hole... she swung at her ball, missed, and hit Brandon instead. lol... She was embarrassed and it was so funny!

Hole 8 is where I hit my ball in the water. I told Brandon I can just share his ball, but he insisted he get mine out of the water for me. :) I'm guessing that's cause he doesn't want his ball in the water too.

BBQ At Mitzi's

Mitzi & Russ moved recently to a new home in Idaho. Brandon took the evening off so we could join everyone for a BBQ there.

The boys always have to get a ride on Dodger when they are at Grandma & Grandpa's house! They are lined up and can't wait! It's so cute.

Cooper wouldn't say it, but it was so funny (he is actually relaxing his legs in this picture) almost the whole time his legs were crunched up like a jocky... he just wouldn't relax. Cooper is such a sweet boy.

The trio played in the dirt a lot. Hayden, Cooper, and Will are cousins and were all born in 2009... they're gonna be good buds.

Then Russ got out PJ and said I should try riding him. I've only ridden a horse once and it was 12 years ago!   Can you see the nervous look on my face? I'm trying to get up and Russ warns me not to kick him so I was super paranoid after that that PJ would get spooked and drag me around.

Thank goodness that didn't happen! Russ had to push me up and he gave me a hard time about being short. Russ gave me some lessons and I totally fell in love with PJ... he is such a sweet horse! I wanted to take him home. He does everything you want him to... :)

Aunt Crystal & Paisley... Crystal and Travis have Cooper, and they are expecting a little girl in the fall sometime too... not sure what month she is due.

My cowboy... I like watching Brandon on a horse... :) I told him we need to get our own horses someday. I'm not a dog or a cat person, but I could definitely be a horse lover. We played a game of croquet and I was dead last. I'm terrible at that game.

The 3 boys laid down to watch a movie in the basement while we played cards upstairs. Brandon and I left with our kids at 12:30 and it is an 1 1/2 drive home... we were all so tired and got home at 2am!!! But it was worth it... we had a great time. We didn't have Baylee, Abbee or Kalyssa this time, so we'll have to go see them again soon when we have all 6 kids.
