Timmmberrr!

I was feeding the twins in the kitchen and heard an awful noise!

Yup! Just what I feared it was.
I immediately said real stern, "What! Are you doing!?"
LOL... it was the wrong thing to say. He started crying...

He was trapped and nowhere to go. The lights were ripped out of the wall.
I just watched him... it only took 30 seconds and I wasn't mad anymore...

This is kinda funny. I don't know why he tried to squeeze behind the tree, but I should've seen it coming with a 3-year old. He helped me put the ornaments back on and guarded the tree from the twins. Haha. I love my little man.

The Christmas Tree

I do the honors of shaping the Christmas tree and putting the lights on it.

Kalyssa and Abbee kept me company and worked on their Christmas pin-pokes. We sang to my Christmas CD by the Judds (Oh yeah!).

I woke up William so they could all decorate the tree together. He was really excited that a Christmas tree was in our house! LOL... he's been noticing everything that resembles Christmas lately. The holidays will be fun for him this year.

Baylee and the other kids hung up their own ornaments first. Its fun to open the boxes and when they see the stuff they made over the years... I love to hear, "Oh, I remember that!"

I promised Kalyssa she could put the star on top.

Willie hung up his stocking.

Abbee hung up her stocking and the twin's.

The tree is done! Wonderful job!
It doesn't take these four long to get all the ornaments on the tree.

My absolute favorite thing about the holidays is seeing all 8 stockings in my living room! It warms my soul. :)

Uh, Oh! The twins woke up and walked right up to the tree...

Emmy is touching all the dangling "toys"...

Paisley is too...

Emmy's first ornament she pulled off the tree. She's proud to show me.

"Hey! No. No."
LOL... they both turn to look at me.

Emmy is running around the house with the left over bulbs. We only have shatter-proof ones this year... a must!

Paisley finally got an ornament off and brought it to me in the girl's bedroom where we're decorating their little Christmas tree.

Baylee is putting the beads on...

Will wanted to put the star on top of our other tree, but it wasn't his turn, so he got to on this tree.

Brandon got me a digital picture frame a few years ago. Its been stored away. I got it out and put 99 pictures of Christmas and holiday parties over the last 4 years on it. I LOVE IT!!!

All the fun pictures change every 5 seconds and its hypnotizing... you can't help but watch it. :)

Yeahy! I got all my Christmas decor out... It's officially Christmas time at my house!

Temple Square Lights

Its the day after Thanksgiving... we went with our friends, Dustin & Janette to Temple Square.

Oakli, Kalyssa, Addison,William, and the Twins...
they are bundled up to see the Christmas lights.

Paisley kept bouncing her feet and her snow boots would fall off. I just took them off and put an extra pair of gloves on her feet for extra warmth... LOL... she looked like a monkey.

The kids threw pennies into the fountain. Will kept saying he wanted to swim. ;o)

The kids checked out the Jerusalem display in the North Visitors Center.

We went outside a few minutes before 5:30 to see the lights turn on! Will liked the green lights the best, of course. :) Every year we've gone in the past, we were never there right at 5:30, so it was cool not to miss it this year. The crowd outside gives an, "Awww" when they turn on... it was funny.

The kids wanted to see the Christus statue.

We met up with Mitzi & Russ, Tiff & Jon, and Jess & Kristin.

Emmy and Hayden with their Aunt Kristin

Mitzi and Russ

Jon & Tiff with their 2 boys.

I'm surprised Emmy liked her should ride tonight. She is usually terrified of heights.

The kids wanted to stop and see all the floating lights in the pond on our way out...

Me and Janette

Walking back to the car... hoping it wasn't towed. :)

Dustin pushed (well, he ran!) Will and Paisley up and down the sidewalks. They had a blast! Paisley's little nose was red from the cold air, but she loved every minute of it!

Paisley and Addi
We all met at Jess & Kristin's house for leftover turkey dinner. It was just as fabulous the next day!

This is how Hayden watches TV. Haha... just like my kids!

Kristin, baby Hollister & Tiff.

Emmy is so cute... It is VERY hard to get a picture of her smiling. I really love this one. :)

One last pic before we get our coats on to head home...

Visiting Temple Square with family and friends was super fun!

Thanksgiving at the Hatch's

We went to Brandon's Mom's house for Thanksgiving this year...

LOL. I love this family! They're always sleepy.

Travis and his new baby girl, Maylee Jo.

Brandon and Paisley watching football.

The three stooges playing outside in the dirt.

Then they found croquet sticks and jumbo balls to hit around the backyard. It's a miracle they didn't hit each other. :)

Tiff and sweet Hollister

Grandma Dixie rolling the dice during our Mystery game. If you rolled a 6 you can pick a mystery prize or exchange your gift with someone else's.

After everyone has a gift, we opened them. I think I was the only one who brought gag gifts. Haha. The table cloth Mitzi had was cute. We all wrote messages on it and she'll use it again next year. We traced the little kids hands on it too.

Then Mitzi had paper turkeys hidden around her house... who ever found the most wins a prize...
Ready. Set. Go!

Brandon and Crystal grabbed the boys and rushed them downstairs to find all the turkeys in the basement.

Brandon and Willie are counting their turkeys...

They had the most and won the prize. :)

Aunt Julie is so good at getting Paisley to sleep. Me and Zach ate almost all of the caramel popcorn between the two of us... so yummy! :)

Crystal and cute Maylee

Paisley with her Grandma Mitzi. Paisley cuddled Mitzi and Julie most of the day.

Emmy and Hayden... this picture is so funny. Its obvious how tired Hayden is. Hayden, Cooper and Will played all day together and didn't take naps. They were so exhausted by 7:30.

Happy Thanksgiving!
