1st Night

We weren't planning to move into our new home until tomorrow, but there was a break in the snow storm and Dustin, Tyler, Jess & Kristin came over to help us tonight, so we decided to hurry and move everything. 

Grandma Mary Ann is a life saver. She brought us dinner and desert while we were moving... one less thing for me to worry about. :) {Thank you Grandma}

Its 11:30pm, after lots of work we put their mattresses on the floor and made their beds. Its a school night and we're all very tired.

Will was out as soon as his head hit the pillow. His first night in a new house wasn't a problem for him.

Paisley's 1st night in her new room. She did wake up crying a couple times throughout the night.

Emmy did OK. In our old house their bedroom was the hottest, but this bedroom seems to be the coldest upstairs, so I've bundled them up.

Valentine Cookies

Will is helping me decorate jumbo sized Valentine cookies.

Thanks to Lana, my son is a marshmallow junkie. LOL. He skipped all the candy options and he ate this whole thing.

This is the last treat we'll make together in this house. :( Buying a house is bitter sweet for me. I'm really excited to move forward, but I'm really attached to this house. Its the house we've always had since we've been married, we brought our 3 kids  home here after they were born... ALL of our memories since our family started has been at this house, and I'm really going to miss it. Luckily, we're only moving a mile away.

We Got The Keys!

We closed on our new house on January 15th, but she needed more time to pack and move so we didn't get the keys to it until today!

The kids haven't seen inside yet. We're driving over there to show them right now. They are REALLY excited.

Our new house is only 1 mile down the road from where we've been living for the last 4 years. In little West Weber, you can ride on daddy's lap. :)

It's snowing tonight... and is expected to snow the next few days while we move. Haha. Whatever.

This is the basement family room. We showed the older girls where we will build 2 walls to add 2 more bedrooms in here for them.

The kids loved it and wanted to sleep here tonight in their sleeping bags. Haha... but no. The carpets will be cleaned tomorrow morning, then we can move in after its dry.

We've got lots of plans for our new home and lots of memories to make together.

Martina McBride & George Strait Concert

We drove down to Salt Lake with the Nielsens cause they all bought tickets, but their seats weren't near us. We ate dinner at Crown Burger before the concert. That seems to be the tradition.

So... Brandon won 2 tickets to the George Strait concert. And here we are!!! We got pretty good seats. :)

Martina McBride opened the show. I've always liked her and she was awesome to see. She looked and sounded amazing! ;)

The crowed was so loud when she was done... she seemed impressed... we all loved her!

Brandon and I are pretty anxious during the break... waiting for George Strait to come out!

Here he is... Everyone was on their feet and very loud!

He sang our baby girl's song... Check Yes Or No. I got this shot of him saying her name... "Emmy Lou". 

He sang a lot of older songs... which was great. When we saw him in concert 2 years ago, he sang all different songs than he did tonight. That was pretty cool.

George sang 30 or more songs tonight...

He's saying goodbye, but we know better...

A ton of people left, but we stayed and cheered super loud. The name of the tour was The Cowboy Rides Away since he is retiring. The show can't be over until he sings that song, right???

...He came back to sing a few more.

I loved the energy in there when George came back. Everyone stayed on their feet the last few songs and was cheering like crazy.

100 Years Old

It is the 100th day of school today. The 3rd graders are dressing like they are 100 years old.

We did Kalyssa's hair and she wore a bath robe to school. :)

My Little Mommy

It is SO sweet... Emmy has taken an interest in her babies the past few days. To the point were she almost doesn't play with anything else. She lays out a blanket {or a burp rag... haha} and wraps her baby in it.

She usually holds her babies upside down.

This doll is her favorite for some reason. She feeds her baby bottles and gives it binkies. She'll wrap her baby, stand up, and rock from side to side. Its so adorable how early kids learn to be a Mommy.

A Beauty Pageant

Baylee and Abbee were doing the twins hair for a pretend beauty pageant. It started out by using gel for their curls, then this was the finished product...
