Birthday Breakfast

The next morning, I made the girls breakfast. Kalyssa wanted waffles, bacon and chocolate milk!

Willie got to eat with them. Brandon took Will to do guy stuff last night while we had a slumber party so Will wouldn't pester the girls.

Her friends stayed until 1:00... they played house with the twins, played outside, and danced to music.

Kalyssa's Slumber Party

Kalyssa is turning 8 years old in 3 days. I let her have a slumber party with a few friends to celebrate.

Kalyssa wanted to open her presents first thing!

We busted out the nail polish stash! They got really creative with their nails and some wanted my help...

...and they helped each other.

They played house and Kalyssa was expecting. I'm not sure how I feel about this. :o/ I guess I've been pregnant for most of the last 3 years and its part of the being-a-Mom process.

They ate pizza and are always pulling funny faces.

Just Dance 3 Wii contest.

Settling down for a movie and popcorn... so I thought! That lasted 30 minutes... 

Wrestling and doggie piles started!!!

Shaylee wasn't in the mood, or she was just tired like me. She continued to watch the movie with sunglasses on. They were up until 1:30 being kind of loud. I finally put them all in Kalyssa's bedroom, situated their beds, shut the door, turned on the fan in my room to drowned out the laughter and got some sleep. They all said they didn't go to sleep until 5 am... which I totally believe!

Summer's Photo Shoot

My niece Summer (Oh gosh! My GREAT niece, Summer...) is 1 month old today. Samantha came over so we could try to get some cute pictures of Summer for her birth announcements. Sam brought over a basket and some flowers.

Summer isn't sleeping in this one, she actually just blinked and it turned out so sweet.

Summer wasn't happy for a lot of the time. She wanted Sam to hold her, but when she'd play an audio of running water on her phone it seemed to help and I was able to snap some pictures of her not crying. :)

I love LOVE this one! This is a pot I have in my living room. She fit snug in there playing the part of a single flower... and I'm surprised it didn't tip over! She sat there solid and sleeping soundly in it. We had no problem keeping her asleep in this pot.

Summer is so cute. Sam and I were both so happy we got a few good shots that will hopefully turn out cute on some announcements! I'm so glad Sam let me take the photos for her... it was a lot of fun!

V-Day Cards From Grandma

Mitzi is so cute... she sent all our kids Valentine's Day cards. The older girls run around and brag about what  THEIR card says and love how theirs is different from everyone else's...

The twins opened their's today and Paisley sure studied her card. :)

1st Baby Food

Its time to start feeding them baby food I guess. I've been putting it off because I feel like I'm already doing so much in a day. But they're 5 months old and should be learning how to eat from a spoon. Don't they look ready?

They shared a jar of sweet potatoes. Both got the hang of opening their mouths for the spoon toward the end of the jar.

Paisley kept making sour faces!

Great job with the first baby food experience girls! Oh! And they've been wearing size 3 diapers for a couple of weeks now too. I've been squeezing them into size 2 for too long, but I hate to waste them! You know how that is!?

Valentine's Day

We took our 6 sweet little Valentines to Dairy Queen for ice cream.

The girls wrote and acted out a Valentine's Day play for me and Brandon.

They are really creative and it was complete with a cute Cupid role for Willie, but he was too tired and whinny for acting. :(

Help Yourself

Will pushed all 4 stools to the counter to climb up and get a snack for himself. Hm... I wonder if he's starting to catch on that I can't do stuff right away for him with the twins around.

I got him a glass of milk to dip his graham crackers in... he really liked that.

Science Experiment

I think Baylee really enjoys science at school. Whenever they do cool stuff, she'll come home and show the experiment to Kalyssa and Abbee. 

Baking soda and vinegar together fizzes over the top. Oooo.... Ahhhhhh. :)

Birthday Quilt

Grandma Mitzi dropped off Kalyssa's birthday quilt she made for her. It's adorable and Kalyssa loves it so much. She said its her favorite blanket. Mitzi made all the girls a quilt for their 8th birthdays. :)

Mama & Emmy

Apple Juice

I'm going to give the twins apple juice for the first time today...

Emmy started drinking fast and once she realized it wasn't formula she shot her head back like something hit her in the nose! It was so funny.

Paisley is super expressive and all her sour faces were hilarious! She wasn't crying but all her sour faces worked some tears out eventually.

It took both of them a good 2 hours to drink 4 ounces of apple juice. They mostly chewed on the bottle and let it drip into their mouth until it was gone.

The twins are 5 months old. They're not rolling over yet or even trying to. They can stay my little sweeties forever... that'd be fine by me.

Summer, 2 Weeks Old

I went to visit my niece Sam to see how her and the baby were doing. Summer is two weeks old now. Sam and Tony are really good parents and its obvious they love Summer to pieces. Summer looks just like Tony I think. :)
