We're Pregnant!

I took a home test at my sisters house on Wed Jan 5th... and we're pregnant! We told the kids on Sunday. I can't believe it's baby number 5 for our family. Brandon wasn't surprised and said, "That explains a lot." Poor guy... I get terribly moody. Haha. But it was planned and is such great news!!! It's still early in the pregnancy, so we're praying everything goes fine. I'm progressively getting sicker every week, and I've heard that's a good sign. :)

Dryer Trouble

So last Monday was a full day of doing laundry... and thank goodness!!! Cause on the last load of drying I heard loud banging noises and then it quit with an even louder bang. We went all week without a dryer, then Brandon called his Dad to come look at it.

He came right over and got it tore apart. He found a butter knife that William put in the lint trap... it worked its way down to the fan and made the loud banging noises as it broke all the teeth off it and shot it threw the side housing wall... AND burned up the motor! So thanks to our sweet little Will, we bought a new dryer 2 weeks after Christmas. Our new dryer has the lint trap on top of the dryer way out of reach!

Craft Day

We went to Mary's house to craft! I bought all the girls cardboard boxes from the craft store so they could decorate their own jewelry boxes since they all have over flowing jewelry in their rooms that drive me crazy. :) They painted the outside, picked out what scrapbook paper they wanted and glued it on with Mod Podge. Then I hot glued gems on top and the ribbon they wanted around the side of the lids.

New Beds

We surprised Kalyssa and Abbee with new twin beds! Their bunk bed was old and had a really old mattress on the bottom, so we found these matching beds with drawers underneath for more storage since their room doesn't officially have a closet. They picked out new bedding and love their new beds! Kalyssa says she finally gets a full nights sleep! Haha.

Another Family Party!

It's the day after Christmas and we still haven't seen all of our family yet! My side of the fam is coming to our house for dinner, dessert, and to open more presents!!!

Dinner at Julie's

We met Brandon's mom and her side of the family at Aunt Julie's house for dinner. Troy is an awesome cook and made some great prime rib! After dinner we hung out together, opened presents from Russ & Mitzi, and had dessert.
