The 2nd Attempt

Emmy has been able to climb out of her crib for awhile now, but Paisley couldn't. They are 2 1/2 so I decided to take off the side rail on Emmy's crib today, and bring in the one toddler bed we have for Paisley. I tried this 6 months ago, and it did NOT go well!

Nap time was just as it was before... I hear them playing, I bust threw the door to startle them, "GET IN BED!", they drop their toys, and immediately jump back into bed... over and over. Then after 2 hours, I just let them free, and Emmy tries to tell me, "I woke up!" - "No. You never went to SLEEP!" Lol.

Now its bedtime, and they slept just fine. Didn't get out of bed once. Probably cause they are exhausted from no nap. 

Emmy loves how easy it is to get in and out of her crib, and Paisley has been excited about her toddler bed all day. I guess I'll pick my battles. If they don't get a nap it's not the end of the world, as long as they don't give me trouble at bedtime, I'm good. :)

St. Patrick's Day at Preschool

Time for Preschool.

Its Will's turn to bring the treat for preschool. He was really excited to bring green Lucky Charm Rice Krispies and chocolate milk to share with everyone. A leprechaun has been sneaking around their classroom the past couple of weeks. The kids have to wear green today to trick "Petey" to get his gold. 

They did it... they tricked Petey and got his gold! Will had a cute hat on when I picked him up from preschool.

He kept saying he got 1st place and he "win" Petey. They made a fun shamrock bracelet too.

"You Might Be A Farmer If..."

At our next State YF&R Conference, the committee is making a video "You might be a farmer if..." and we have to finish the sentence and act it out in a photo for the video. These are the two Brandon and I did.

You might be a farmer if... When you were little, you "beat-up" another kid on the school bus arguing over the color of tractors.

You might be a farmer if... Over 50% of your clothing came from feed and seed dealers.

New Job, New Adventures

Brandon doesn't work for Gibson's Dairy anymore, which is bitter/sweet. He started working on the crew at Bear River Co-Op last Monday spraying fields. Brandon was trained for 2 days and is good to go!

We're so happy the company welcomes family to come ride along in the tractors. So I brought Willie out for his 1st ride with Dad in the sprayer. Will has never been in a sprayer that big, so when we pulled up to the field his jaw dropped. Lol. He was really excited to spend time with dad in the tractor again... it's been a few months.

I never thought I'd see Brandon in a "red" tractor!
