Baptism Pictures

I'm curling Kalyssa's hair to take baptism pictures of her in her dress. She is being baptized this Sunday and I'm putting some of these photos up by the door and one will be printed on her baptism program.

They turned out so good and we had fun taking them... My camera did the job just fine! :)

Potty Practice

Will sat on the potty for the 1st time today!!! No success tho... Then he didn't want to get off cause Mommy was so happy and making such a big deal over it. I put his pants back on and he sat down again for more praise... lol.

Activity Days

Kalyssa is 8 years old now and its her first time going to Activity Days! She was so so excited!!! The 8-11 year old girls at our church have Activity Days twice a month where they work on their Faith In God books to graduate from Primary when they're twelve. Kalyssa hated staying home when Baylee & Abbee left to go to Activity Days without her... now she can go too! :)

Cereal

I put some cereal in a bowl for Will and it wasn't enough. He wanted it to be heaping full.

It made me laugh cause when I was little I would eat heaping bowls of cereal ALL the time, and I remember my brother Greg being annoyed with me saying, "Why don't you just use a bigger bowl?!!"

Gone Shootin

Willie with Brandon's 6-shooter. He's quick to pull the trigger! We have to make sure its aimed where it should be before the gun is cocked back. Will shoots it the second he knows it's ready!!

Me and Will shooting at the log floating down the river... Yeah! I totally sunk it! :)

My shoulder was bruised the next day from my 410. I'm kind of scared of it now...

Birthday Breakfast

The next morning, I made the girls breakfast. Kalyssa wanted waffles, bacon and chocolate milk!

Willie got to eat with them. Brandon took Will to do guy stuff last night while we had a slumber party so Will wouldn't pester the girls.

Her friends stayed until 1:00... they played house with the twins, played outside, and danced to music.

Kalyssa's Slumber Party

Kalyssa is turning 8 years old in 3 days. I let her have a slumber party with a few friends to celebrate.

We busted out the nail polish stash! They got really creative with their nails and some wanted my help...

...and they helped each other.

They played house and Kalyssa was expecting. I'm not sure how I feel about this. :o/ I guess I've been pregnant for most of the last 3 years and its part of the being-a-Mom process.

They ate pizza and are always pulling funny faces.

Just Dance 3 Wii contest.

Settling down for a movie and popcorn... so I thought! That lasted 30 minutes...

Wrestling and doggie piles started!!!

Shaylee wasn't in the mood, or she was just tired like me. She continued to watch the movie with sunglasses on. They were up until 1:30 being kind of loud. I finally put them all in Kalyssa's bedroom, situated their beds, shut the door, turned on the fan in my room to drowned out the laughter and got some sleep. They all said they didn't go to sleep until 5 am... which I totally believe!

Summer's Photo Shoot

My niece Summer (Oh gosh! My GREAT niece, Summer...) is 1 month old today. Samantha came over so we could try to get some cute pictures of Summer for her birth announcements. Sam brought over a basket and some flowers.

Summer isn't sleeping in this one, she actually just blinked and it turned out so sweet.

Summer wasn't happy for a lot of the time. She wanted Sam to hold her, but when she'd play an audio of running water on her phone it seemed to help and I was able to snap some pictures of her not crying. :)

I love LOVE this one! This is a pot I have in my living room. She fit snug in there playing the part of a single flower... and I'm surprised it didn't tip over! She sat there solid and sleeping soundly in it. We had no problem keeping her asleep in this pot.

Summer is so cute. Sam and I were both so happy we got a few good shots that will hopefully turn out cute on some announcements! I'm so glad Sam let me take the photos for her... it was a lot of fun!

V-Day Cards From Grandma

Mitzi is so cute... she sent all our kids Valentine's Day cards. The older girls run around and brag about what THEIR card says and love how theirs is different from everyone else's...

The twins opened their's today and Paisley sure studied her card. :)

1st Baby Food

Its time to start feeding them baby food I guess. I've been putting it off because I feel like I'm already doing so much in a day. But they're 5 months old and should be learning how to eat from a spoon. Don't they look ready?

They shared a jar of sweet potatoes. Both got the hang of opening their mouths for the spoon toward the end of the jar.

Paisley kept making sour faces!

Great job with the first baby food experience girls! Oh! And they've been wearing size 3 diapers for a couple of weeks now too. I've been squeezing them into size 2 for too long, but I hate to waste them! You know how that is!?
