Gingerbread Houses

Grandma Mary Ann made lots of gingerbread houses to decorate and made everyone a fabulous dinner...

My kids couldn't wait to go to her house! :)

Willie is old enough to be on his own this year... I frosted his house and gave him a plate full of candy to decorate it.

I love to see the kids creativity.

Connor and Will are buds.

Jennifer and James... James really gets into decorating his gingerbread house. :)

There was enough houses for the adults too. Doug and his boys, Chase and Chance.

She gave them these loud toys to play with to keep them off the stairs.

Will only used the GREEN candies for his house. He wanted Baylee to put green frosting on it too and told her where to do it. I put other colored candy on it and he didn't like that.

Brandon is working and wanted me to decorate him a house with LOTS of candy on it. That doesn't require much imagination... I just loaded it with his favorites.

Grandma is giving Emmy some M&M's.

Leslie had to warn Chance not to create anything dead this year on his gingerbread house. lol.

Willie was done once the green candies were gone from his plate. :) Then he ran around with Chance.

Brandon's gingerbread house is done. 

I'm taking a few unfinished houses home to make one for each of the twins too... they want to eat Brandon's.

I gave Paisley a Sour Patch Kid and she immediately spit it out. Haha.

So Emmy ate it... sour stuff doesn't phase her.

The kid's houses are so awesome!

At the end, Abbee drizzled frosting over her house and dropped M&M's everywhere... wherever they fell she didn't care. She just wanted the most candy. ;o)

They all got real elaborate on their yards... so cool and great job!
