Hobo Dinners in Avon (Again:))

We enjoyed being in Avon so much a couple weeks ago, we thought we'd come back today when we had all our kids this time. We usually get out of church at 4pm, but today was the perfect day to go to Avon cause we had stake conference and got out of church at noon. Brandon prepared hobo dinners for everyone, and packed a cooler full of drinks and every snack we had in the house I think. :)
And we were off...

We went to a new spot by the river this time, and set up our chairs. Brandon got the fire going.

While our hobo dinners were cooking and we went to the river to play. Brandon and Will fished a little.

We brought our dog, Ruby, with us. She had a great time. When someone throws a rock in the river she dives in to get it out. She never picked up the right one, cause there was so many rocks.

Abbee went for a walk to pick flowers.

Will is fishing. Later, Brandon threw the hook too far and it landed in the bushes across the river. I wore flip flops so I walked across to get the hook out of the bushes for him. It was freezing! That is true love. Haha.

Paisley found a rock she really likes and carried it around. She always does that. She searches for sticks or rocks and keeps them. She brings rocks in the house from the backyard a lot too. She is silly.

Kalyssa shares her dinner with Paisley.

Yummy.

Baylee shared with Emmy Lou.

We packed up our stuff, and drove up to Porcupine Dam where there is a cave you can hike up to. Brandon took the kids up there to see it. It is really steep and rocky. I kept the twins with me at the bottom to wait.

There was a little stream of water by the truck the twins were playing in. Emmy reached in to grab something and fell forward head first. It was so funny to see her tip over cause she didn't try to catch herself at all... her head hit the water and the rest of her body rolled on her side. I snatched her up and she was soaked!

Soaking wet and probably a little cold, but she didn't care.

Her and Paisley kept stomping in the puddles. I had to completely undress the twins, put their wet clothes and shoes in a plastic bag, and put a clean diaper on them before they could get in the truck for our drive home. They were both so wet and filthy. :)
