Packin' the Corn Pit

I haven't seen much of Brandon lately with it being corn season, and I wanted to get out of the house tonight. Me and the kids went to Tremonton to ride in the pit tractor with Brandon. The corn chopper was broke down when we got there, so we went to Wendy's to get all the guys dinner. Then Brandon and I took the kids to a nearby park for them to play. 30 minutes later, Brandon got a call that the chopper was going again, so we rushed back to the pit tractor before the loads started coming in.

We didn't pack the pit very long and the chopper broke down again. The kids got out and played on the corn pit hill.

The  pit is kinda springy and a little hard to walk on. Brandon helped the kids run to the top...

Will is counting to 3...

Then they ran down together.

Emmy fell forward. LOL.

Brandon is wrestling Willie at the top.

The moon is out. I needed to get the kids home and in bed, so we said goodbye.The chopper just started going again, so Brandon will be here for awhile tonight. Just another day in the life of corn season.
