William's First Day of Preschool

Cheese! It's his first day of school! He's ready!

He even let me put gel in his hair, and clip his finger nails and toe nails. Haha.

And then a non-shy pose... LOL... OK, hop in the car, son...

...on our way, and he's on the edge of his seat.

When we got there, Teach Andrea gave Will a hug Hershey's kiss to give me cause she knows it's usually hard for the parents on the first day of school. I was doing just fine until that moment. LOL. That made reality set in a little bit. Then she gave all the Mom's a package of tissues cause we'll cry on our way home after dropping them off. Haha. She is super sweet, but she's not helping!!! ...kidding.

We hung up his backpack, he found his chair again, and he didn't know what to do with himself after that..

Then he started playing with the play dough and animals in front of him. All the parents took pictures and said goodbyes. :)

I was super sad dropping him off for his first day of school. I wanted to cry, but I didn't. I ran an errand with the twins instead. :) Part of me is happy that one more child will be in school for 2 days of the week. That will be one less child running up and down the isles of the grocery store when I go, so that's nice. But it's hard to let go of your babies.

After school, Teacher Andrea lines all the kids up against her garage door. When the kids see their parents they can go. 

The little coconut tree hats they were wearing were so stinkin cute!

Will's best friend, Gordo {Fernando}, is in his class with him. They sit by each other.

He had a great first day of school. He got a cupcake to eat, and wore his coconut hat for another 2 hours after we got home.
