Our Family Pictures

Every year we take our family pictures... I send our best one out on a Christmas card, and update all our pictures I have up in our house... and it usually goes OK. But wow, this year was a disaster! First of all, it's too cold for the twins to take our pictures outside this time of year. I put the timer on my camera and ran to the couch... this is what we got...

Will's classic "Duh" face cracked me up! I've never seen him do this before, but I made this face as a kid in some of my pictures. Will made this face in 3 different pictures today... was so funny to me.

Here's Mama "Duh" in 1982 at 2 years old.

We couldn't even get a good silly picture.

Later on, when I was looking over our pictures on the computer, Kalyssa saw them and asked, "Mom, are we really sending these out on a Christmas card? These are worse than last year!" That was a humbling moment that I decided I won't embarrass myself. Thanks to the honest opinion of a child. Haha. I vow to have a professional take our family pictures, or I won't bother.

Sugar Cookies

We got our aprons out to make lots of sugar cookies.

Brandon helped Baylee and Will roll out the dough while I made the frosting. 

We made cookies for Baylee 's lamb buyers and boosters to say thank you for their support during the fair in August. Then she delivered these cookies with a thank you card she wrote for them.

Once the first cookie had frosting on it, he just ate them and stopped helping.

I Am Happy!

The twins slept through the night last night! Victory!!! They've been doing pretty good lately and sleeping until 5am, but that's still too early for me. Haha. They are 2 1/2 months old today... and didn't wake up till 8:30am... BOTH of them. 

Mama is happy! I love holding them at the same time. So much baby to love and squeeze.

Baylee's Basketball Game

We were getting ready to go to Baylee's basketball game...  I was in the other room putting on Emmy's coat when Brandon snapped this picture of Paisley before we left. Odd thing for him to do, so I thought it was cute. :)

Baylee is in a green jersey with white and pink shorts. She is playing on a recreation team in Roy City.

She is #24... she played pretty good and made a couple shots. Baylee is tall and will be a great player if she can learn to be more aggressive. That's not in her nature, so she'll need to practice. It's her first time on a basketball team.

Her team won this game. Way to go Bay! :)

My Smiling Babies

My camera went wacko on this picture and made it red for some reason. But Paisley is smiling so sweet in it. 

The twins are 9 weeks old now and are smiling regularly... I love it!!!

Boys Will Be Boys

He thought using measuring spoons would be a fun way to eat his cereal this morning.

...and was getting a closer look at it with his flash light. 

Some of the stuff he does makes me smile.

Then he ate lunch in the baby bouncer and watched a movie... this must be the good life to a little boy.

Will Sleepy Again

Will needed to get outside today. I pushed him on the swing for a half hour and he was getting very sleepy.

I had the baby monitor on so I could hear if the twins woke up... Paisley did, so I brought her outside with us.

He was out after I gave him his blanket.

Twins Baby Blessings

Brandon was worried about giving two blessings, but he did great. After sacrament we went to Grandma MaryAnn's for soup and rolls with our families and friends.

Ang & Jake... I took so many pictures of Angela cause they've been living in California and stopped home for a day before moving to Texas and I'm not going to see her again for awhile. :( I was so happy they could make it and be part of the twins special day. It was my first time meeting Jake, which was great too. He'll fit into the fam just fine.

We took the twins home and they were both hungry and tired...

I snapped these pictures of them together before I took their dresses off for their nap.

Grandma MaryAnn bought them their blessing dresses and their cute blessing bracelets. I was so relieved she did that for us, cause I was kinda stressed over the idea of shopping for it, cause it's so hard to go anywhere these days.

Thank you to everyone who helped with the food! All the different soups were so good! :)

Lawn Mower Train

I was on the treadmill and it put both the babies to sleep. When I was done, I looked out the window and had to laugh.

Brandon and Willie were mowing the lawn together. Brandon was towing Will behind him on his pedal tractor. Will's feet don't reach the pedals yet, but he learned how to steer it today.

Will copied everything Brandon did. He'd lean over to watch the edges and turned every time Brandon would...

Then they parked in the barn.

Will was so tired by the time they were done.

He took one bite and fell asleep at the counter. :)

2 Month Appt

This is the twins at their 2 month doctor appointment. Willie had to come along and he brought his trains. :)

They haven't stared at each other till now. I think it's so cute. 

They're healthy! 

Paisley is now 22" long and weighs 10 lbs. 12 oz. 

Emmy is 22 1/2" long and weighs 11 lbs. 6 oz.

Will Asleep

Brandon took Will to work with him today for a little while. Will had enough and fell asleep like this in the truck. Poor Willie... the doors armrest was the best pillow he had available I guess. :) Good thing they were close to home and Brandon could put him to bed.
