For Family Home Evening we went to Black Island Farms for some family fun activities. Me and my 6 kids went with Mary, Nate, and their two kids. Brandon couldn't go cause he was busy at work chopping corn. :( We ate a chili dinner then the kids played on the super slides.
The wind started blowing like crazy all the sudden, and dirt from the nearby fields was clouding us. I had the twins wrapped up tight in their big blankets. I was a little freaked out by the sudden weather change cause the twins are only 4 weeks old and way too small to be out in that kind of weather! At least it wasn't cold.
It started raining, but the kids went down the slides a few times anyway...
...and got their bums all wet.
The wind and rain got too bad. Everyone ran under the covered area to wait and see if it would stop for us to go back out.
The weather calmed after 10 minutes, so we went inside the corn maze.

Nate was holding Emmy and led the way... Mary and I trailed in the back trying to keep all the kids in the middle, so we didn't loose anyone.

It was family night, so we decided that at every turn we'd "Choose the Right" and turn right. We got SO lost!!! It was getting late and we couldn't find our way out.
Will wanted me to hold him & boy was he heavy! Finally, we came across the "Corn Cops" who asked us if we needed help to get out, and showed us the way. They said the trick to the corn maze was to take every left turn. OMGosh! We all laughed that we were doing just the opposite the whole time! So much for Choosing the Right... :)
Will got a sword balloon.
All the kids got balloon animals on our way out to the car.
It was late so we had to go, but we'll be back next Monday for our Hay Ride & to pick a pumpkin.
