Willie is so happy he finally gets to go to school like his big sisters do. Today, Will gets to meet his preschool teacher, and go on a scavenger hunt.
Will and his teacher, Andrea.
Andrea teaches preschool in the basement of her home. Both, Baylee and Abbee, attended preschool here too. We know he will love it! Andrea is Ron's wife (Brandon's boss at the dairy), so we know Andrea and her family very well. :)
Teacher Andrea gave him a check list of things to find around the classroom as a scavenger hunt. We found Will's cubby with his name on it, the reading center, the kitchen set, the alphabet on the wall, Will's chair where he'll sit everyday... then he found the letter "W" to paint and turn into his teacher for a prize.
Of course, he painted his letter green and blue... his two favorite colors!
This will be Will's first year of preschool. He just turned 4 years old this month. After his 3rd birthday, we felt like he wasn't ready for school yet. I'm glad we waited cause just in the last month he has shown big changes in his maturity... all of the sudden... like, he decided to potty train himself overnight a couple of weeks ago, and has had NO problem since. He talks about school and says he wants to go, so I know he is excited. He is interested in alphabet games at home. When he got school clothes on his birthday instead of toys, he was totally happy to get them. Weird, I know! Cause he knew that meant he was going to school soon.. whoo hoo!
