Baylee's New 4-Wheeler

Brandon and Will picked up a new 4-wheeler for Baylee over the weekend. Willie can't wait to yell out "surprise!" when she gets here. Baylee has no idea. She's been looking at 4-wheelers online with Brandon for the past 2 months, but she has no idea he found one for her.

It's a Suzuki Z400 with paddle tires. I know Brandon will be taking Bay to the sand dunes with him as soon as possible! :)

Kalyssa and Will jump on the trampoline while we wait for Brandon to bring home Baylee and Abbee.

When they walked in the door, Brandon threw the 4-wheeler keys at her. She looked at them for a minute confused, and he told her to go out in the backyard to see it. Me, Kalyssa and Will were waiting outside. Willie got to yell, "Surprise!"

Brandon got this 4-wheeler from a guy selling it on KSL. The ad had no pictures, and didn't give much of a description. Brandon loves those ads, he assumes they are the old guy that doesn't know how to upload a picture, and doesn't know much about computers, but they are the ones that have REALLY nice, like new, stuff for sale. And that was the case with this 4-wheeler. It has everything stock, original tires, barely ridden, no scratches on the frame... It should last Baylee 10 years. It's pretty sweet!

Baylee has been in 4-H for 4 years now. She has made good money from selling her animals. This is her first purchase with her hard-earned money. Brandon told her, "See what working hard will get ya?!"

Time to try it out.

Baylee makes this face when she is concentrating. LOL. She is so worried she will kill it...

...and she did. 

She would make it 5 feet, then kill it, start it up, make it 5 feet, then kill it. Just like all of us did when learning how to use a clutch. 

Brandon is helping her every step of the way. He is a great teacher. He is super patient and always encouraging with this stuff. He is that way with me whenever we ride our dirt bikes together (cause I need a refresher course every time we go riding), and he is that with all the kids too. Plus, Baylee is a fast learner, she'll be a pro at this in no time! :)

They are going across the street into the field to practice. This little incline was giving her a bit of trouble. After killing it a few times, Brandon started it and drove them to the field...

...she did awesome over there. 

Brandon got off the back cause Will was here in the front yard watching them and waiting for Brandon to come back to give him a ride on my dirt bike. Brandon, Will, and Bay rode around over there for a half hour. Then Brandon took all the kids down to horseshoe by the river to ride some more and spend time with the kids. It's not very often he gets a day off like this, so he wanted to do something fun with them and make the most of his time off. :) Yup, he's a pretty awesome Dad.
