4 Years And Counting...

Our 4 year wedding anniversary is coming up... time to celebrate...

Day 1:
We just checked-in at the Anniversary Inn in Salt Lake City. We're pretty happy with our theme room! We ate dinner at one of Brandon's favorite restaurants in SLC, the Rodizio Grill. I've never ate there before and it was such great food!

We went to the new City Creek mall. It was beautiful with the creek running through it, the live band was nice entertainment, and the kids playing on the splash pad. We got a candy apple to-go!

Back at our room... the out house...

Can I get some privacy please???

Brandon found a spot for his boots! lol.
I'm pretty sure he was the only cowboy at City Creek tonight, so coming back here feels more like home.

This cool porch in the middle of our room was our favorite! I love the steel fish dinner bell... Brandon loved the rocking chairs.

This jet tub had a waterfall instead of a shower head.

By the bed there was a window to the porch with no glass in it.

We enjoyed our apple pie candy apple desert from City Creek...

It was the best caramel apple I've ever had! I have a mouth full.
We watched School of Rock... that show is hilarious!

Day 2:
Breakfast in bed... Brandon already snatched his cinnamon roll :)

Rise and shine!
At least the stuffed rooster on the porch didn't wake us up. But it and the skunk had their eye on us the whole time.

I was complaining about how I forgot my shower cap at home... Brandon suggested I use the ice bucket liner. That's brilliant! And I'm not too proud to do it.

Getting ready for the day while he rocks on the porch playing with our camera...

He saw this cool panoramic feature on the camera where you take 3 different pictures and it puts them all together like it really is... turned out neat. :)

We went to Lagoon for the day! I think an amusement park is a very romantic date. We've never gone just the two of us before, so we were really looking forward to it.

First thing... the Pioneer Photo Gallery for our western portraits.
It was awesome! Neither of us have done this.

A saloon gal and her outlaw!

I'm all about makin the money honey... ;0)

Lol... Brandon is awesome.

The Bat ride

Where's Waldo?

The Rocket was one of our favorites.
We tried out the new 2012 ride... the Air Race... it was pretty fun, but not the best. Channel 4 News was there while we waited in line.

After we rode all the rides, and went to Pioneer Village again to walk around and see more of the museum stuff. We needed to rest our feet and relax. There is grassy areas back there... Brandon laid down and I used his stomach as a pillow... and we dosed off. Old farts, I know! 45 minutes later, we were feeling pretty good again. lol.

In Dracula's Castle... he's such a faker. He's not really scared, I was!

My eyes are huge... I don't like the haunted house rides, they scare me and I close my eyes most the time while Brandon teases me and makes me jump and scream at everything. He thinks its funny.

On the enormous Ferris wheel, the Sky Scraper at sunset...

Brandon spins our gondola and decided its making him sick and stops. We must be getting old. :)

It was a beautiful view of the valley.
But the darn-est thing... the cows were out! lol. From the top we looked down and there was a herd of cows grazing the grass in the Lagoon parking lot overflow area. They weren't fenced in at all. We saw some employees that notices them too and they were taking pictures of them with their phones. Brandon wondered if Lagoon would give us free passes if he rounded up the cows for them. haha

Brandon swearing as we went down the first hill on the Roller Coaster ride. It seems like the rides go faster after dark!

The lady behind me kept telling her buddy over and over that she was gonna throw up. I looked behind me and said, "DON'T! throw up!" If she did, she would've got me. She laughed and said she was only trying to scare her little cousin and assured me she wouldn't throw up. We made it off the ride still clean.

We took a break... I had to get a caramel apple. Since the fair last week, I've had to buy one everytime I see them. :)

The giant swinging boat ride... the Tidal Wave. Gol, this gets our stomachs!

We're busting up! I won't say what Brandon just said to me...

It was so nice spending time together as a couple. I love you Babe and Happy Anniversary.
